Walden University MPH Programs
Walden’s Master of Public Health (M.P.H) is a comprehensive program that provides students the necessary credentials to pursue advanced careers in the field. Courses are offered online through an engaging e-learning environment with graphics, video, and simulation to create a customized educational experience.
The program features a practical fieldwork component that provides students an opportunity to apply and recreate what they are learning. Faculty uses a practice-oriented approach to teaching the core disciplines of public health. Students who enroll in Walden’s Master of Public Health graduate with the following knowledge:
- Epidemiological concepts to public health situations
- Environmental health factors that affect the health of a community
- Advanced biostatistical concepts and data management techniques
Students enrolled in Walden’s M.P.H program are required to complete 56 hours of credits. Graduates go on to pursue jobs as medical and health services providers, health educators, community health workers, health specialties teachers, and many other in-demand professions. Walden is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association.
